How much does an emergency physician’s visit or a home call cost?

We offer our service to all patients in Hamburg. No matter whether you have private or statutory insurance and whether it is an emergency or a preventive examination, we analyze your state of health thoroughly in a clear and understandable way.

Who pays for private emergency service and home visits?

Costs for privately insured persons

As a privately insured patient, you can submit the invoice for a doctor’s visit at home to your health insurance as usual. 

Costs for self-payers

Of course, you can also receive our service as a self-payer under the statutory health insurance. We expressly point out that these costs are not reimbursed by the German statutory health insurance funds.

How are the costs for the emergency physician specified?

Our medical services are invoiced in accordance with the German Scale of Charges for Doctors (GÖA). Transparency is also our top priority when it comes to costs. A regular home visit between 08:00 and 18:00, including assessment andcomplete physical examination, costs approximately 250 Euros according to GÖA. 

Upon request, we will be happy to provide you with further detailed information on the fees and the Individual Health Services (IGeL).

Can the emergency physician help with children’s diseases?

The outstanding medical competence of our emergency service and home visit team is the hallmark of ABD MED CARE. Of course, this also applies to the treatment of your children. 

Costs for emergency doctor and on-call service for artists and events

Whether on the film set or in the backstage area – as ABD MED CARE we have been accompanying national and international artists, crews and productions for many years. A discreet treatment and our detailed consultation distinguish us also in this medical line of work. 

For our stand-by and on-call service, flat rates apply which are agreed upon in advance. On request, we will be happy to provide you with a non-binding offer that is fully tailored to your needs.
